compressiong for my application

I will be running my
61 Mustang into a
SansAMP RBI powered by a
QSC PLX 1602 powering
two GS112s

possibly a 13-band furman EQ in there as well

my question is what kind of compressor would go well for my application? would a dbx 160a work fine? I'm also looking at the Rane DC-24, but I don't know if I *need* all the stuff on the Rane. This is the question at hand.

I'm not even sure which is the best way to run the compressor to the preamp

You'd put the compressor between the pre and the power amp. However don't spend your money until you've tried the rest of the setup - Sansamp reckon you don't need a compressor if you're using their kit.
