    Hey there,
I am wondering if anyone knows about this:

I have been doing some research between the Lexicon shown above, and some similar products by Line 6, Tascam, and M-Audio. I cannot find many reviews on these, and they all have about the same rating from what I've found.

I have an Amazon gift certificate for 100.00 that I recieved for Christmas and am thinking of going with the above route.

My aim is to start recording direct in to my computer with my bass, and use software to generate the drum, and guitar tracks. I believe the recording software bundled with most of these can handle that.

If anyone has any experience, please give me some advice. Thanks much.
  2. Check out the Line6 toneports as well. In addition to all the A/D conversion, preamps, mixing, etc, it's also got all of the fabulous line6 guitar/bass/vocals modeling as well as bundling a copy of Ableton Live (fabulous composition software). About the same price if not a little cheaper.
