Was thinking about concentric pot jazz basses today and how tone pots interact. Looked at the wiring diagram and when the time pots is wired the traditional way(top), you are sending the entire output into the tone, so I can see why. Would wiring the tone pots like the bottom diagram work? I'm sure someone has tried it before and if it worked we would see more concentric pot jazzes. Am I right? Am I wrong? Am I looking past something entirely? Pls help me understand.
