Well... envelope filter... which one? That's a debate topic that will continue until the universe implodes. Could be a mutron, could be a bass balls. I doubt it's a boss of any description, but then again, who really knows!?

That doesn't sound like a BassBalls to me, and it sounds to quick and "sharp" to me to be a manual wah.

For what it's worth, as someone who has owned a multitude of different envelope filters, I always thought that sound sounded most like the DOD Envelope filter.
