Confusing tab: on which octave should we play?

Hello everyone,

I got confused by these musical notation and the tabs attached. The notes seem to be mismatched by an octave.

For example, the first note here is a Si (G) that I am used to play with third fret of E string (E3).
In these tabs, the note is located in E15.
It's still a G, but a octave higher.

I am very confused by this. How to know in what octave we are supposed to play?

basically answered above.

the rule to follow... if you're reading the TAB you play it "as-is" on the frets indicated (the octave transposition is built-in). The 8va is in reference to the "notation" on the bass clef.
