Confusion : Bee Bass & Delano

ok , i checked out Bee bass's site (great basses btw) i see that they use Delano pops.

they have the picture of a stinger bass (7 strings) with this huge , big a** MC pop

went on delano's site and they make MC in 6 strings only.......now, the 7 string stinger bass has at least 17mm string spacing at the bridge , if not 18mm

I wanted to install a Delano MC6 HE/S on my bass ...according to the dimensions of delano's site , the pops is 105mm wide (6 string)....but i have 18mm string spacing on mine..........seams a little short to me no???

so...what in god's name bee basses used???????????????

delano and Bee prob have a "oem" style deal

kinda like Sadowsky use hipshot Bridges but you cant actually buy a sadowsky bridge..

Delano Custom Shop.... my 7 string Bee has 19mm spacing and an MC7-FE in it (Killer pickup!!!)

ha , that makes sense.....just contacted them to build a custom MC6 HE/S for a 18mm String spacing at the bridge...

i only have delano on 4 strings but can vouch for em.. very very underatted

I can say (without hesitation) that Delano pickups offer a level of clarity & punch that other pickups (and their respected brand names) are hard pressed to attain. Feel free to ask me any questions about my experience with Bee basses/ Delano pickups.
