I didn't mean that Bill and Mike were unhappy with me when I wrote the above statement, all. in fact, the guys at Conklin were among the most emotional when we spoke after I got out of the Superdome. I'm talking with them about building me a new axe in the not too distant future...

now, back to more about Luis' amazing new axe!

Nope, the problem is finding a case for it. I don’t know if we told you that the company that used to make all of our custom Ultralite cases just suddenly went out of business (literally overnight) and we are desperately trying to find a company that can supply us with cases that will fit some of these monster 8, 9 and 10 string basses.


We have a couple different companies that are supposedly making some prototypes for us, but they keep telling us another few weeks and we never see anything.


Keep up your spirits; we’ll get taken care of as soon as we can.

I guess, but the problem is not my bass, its the whole case supply, they are waiting for samples from other manufacturers, and Bill does say that they are taking their time :eyebrow:

Badass dude. Girlfriend says "it's too big," but she's ... well, a girl.

What are the electronics? I used to have a GT-7 and would love to own another 7 someday (fretless, probably) ... but I'd probably go the Stew route and have totally passive, no knobs.

I ordered a Bart NMTB back then, we'll see how it sounds, I became a big fan of aggies meanwhile... one of the switches is an active/passive indeed.
