Newly forming band in Northern Connecticut is seeking a solid, reliable, and creative bassist that wants to tear things up. We're a drummer and guitarist in our early 30's that are dedicated and motivated...we want to get original material put together quickly and get out there to start playing live and recording. We really want whoever we find to be part of the writing process and contribute their input in the material...the last few players have had more of a "I'm just the bassist" attitude and really didn't put any effort forth.
Music style will be heavy but melodic, with lots of influence from bands like Tool, Gojira, Katatonia, Opeth, and much much more. This isn't a project to sound like everything out there today...like a lot of the metalcore acts that come out these days. It will have some similarities but be more grounded in a conventional hard hitting style.
