Connecting an amp another amp

Hello everybody.

I have a Fender Rumble 150 and a small ZT Lunchbox.

My idea, for smaller venues, is connecting the Lunchbox to the Rumble - via xlr line out ? - so I can put the lunchbox near the drummer. Is it possible?

How should I do it?

You could possibly get a noise out of the lunchbox with the line out from the Fender but it wouldn't be a good noise and the speaker wouldn't like it.

Could I use the xlr line out to feed directly a small active monitor maybe?

I wouldn't.

You need everyone to play at your modest but giggable volume capability.

If you add another semi serious bass cab on stage you will sound terrible out front. Sound does not add together like light. The two sources combine to form interference patterns. Some frequencies get loud and the next quiet.

Can you rearrange the stage to suit the drummer getting a better earful of your Fender?

Isn't that ZT a guitar combo? I'd never run a bass through that anyway.

Running bass through a guitar amp at anything louder than bedroom volume levels will trash the speaker, and will sound terrible. +1 to downunderwonder's idea of stage rearrangement.
