Hey guys, Im getting a new rig soon and I want to run two markbass 104HF´s with a markbass little mark tube 800 ( looking to run it at 4ohm ) I know there is two ways but ive herd that both are good and bad.

Setup one: SpeakON out of Little mark into cab one, 1/4 out of head into cab two

Setup Two: SpeakON out of Little mark into cab one, SpeakON out of cab one into cab two.

Will both work or only one. And are both ports on the cabs visa versa or certain one in/out

They have speakon and 1/4 inch jack?
The Speakon receptacle on the back of most MarkBass amps can also accept a 1/4" jack, so if using 1/4" you can run both from the amp but if using Speakon, you daisy chain. There is no downside to daisy chaining. Performance is the same and, if using a high powered amp, is preferable to 1/4" jacks.

Awesome, that answers my question! On the cabs, there is two speakon ports. Are they assigned in/out or can both be used as an in/out

Honestly you can either do:
  • SpeakOn to cab and then daisy chain via SpeakOn from one cab to the next
  • SpeakOn to one cab, jack to the other cab
  • Two jack leads from the back of the amp, one to each cab
  • JAck lead to one cab, daisy chain with another jack lead to the other cab
  • ...or pretty much any combination you like...
...and in practice they will all work just fine. Yes, Speakons (kosher Neutrik ones!) are a superior design from an engineering point of view to jacks as speaker signal output/input connectors but it's not like people didn't successfully use jack plugs to connect up amplifiers and cabs in the 25-30 odd years prior to Neutrik launching Speakons in the late 1980s. Not something to stress over.
