The top looks like leopard print. I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing, though. And I like the separate flip-up battery compartment for the preamp. I think all active basses, especially expensive ones, should have an easy access battery compartment like that, so one doesn't have to waste time unscrewing the cavity and needlessly poking around in there just to change a battery.
I think it looks FANTASTIC!!!! Love the pup covers and the top, and I've always had a soft spot for connecting the upper horn back to the neck!! (which is only overhshadowed by connecting it to the headstock.)
