considering an ESP Vintage 4

Hey guys. I'm considering a bass. An ESP vintage 4. Anyone play them like em don't like em? what cha got on these? Aside from the crappy relic look they look seem pretty decent.

GREAT build quality and feel. The faux relic thing is a bit cheesy but if you can get past that then they're very good basses.

I have an old 400 forum series neck on a jazz body that i personally love,the flat radius is similiar to a modern stingray,chunky yet slim front to back

I bought one a few months ago and it's great. Cheesy relic job has already been discussed, but it's a solid player & workmanship (other than the relicing) is top-notch. SD pickups give great PJ tone also.

One thing to keep in mind, though, don't know if you're considering new or pre-driven: resale on these is rather low, for a pricey bass new: $1500 street new, used they've been going in the $550 - $600 range:

Anyway, they are great basses; I'd say easily on par with a MIA Fender, so...enjoy!
