BTW Constantine, your transcription/tab for Boot Scootin' Boogie both on your site and on youtube is a dead link.
I just stumbled upon his YouTube channel for the first time today, and then this thread randomly showed up. Weird. Good stuff, for sure. I will be watching from now on.

Trying to learn a song I stumbled across one of your vids recently, which led to more of your vids, and ... more Isslamow vids.
So much easier to learn from your vids — I can hear your bass in the mix, see both hands clearly, and with the sheet music can quickly learn a new song.
Best of all I don't have to sit through the rambling of the other online instructors talking about "3rd string, fifth fret" or what they ate for breakfast — and most of those "instructors" only cover the main riffs while omitting the runs, fills and any tricky bits.
Complete, clear and concise — thanks again for your generosity!

constantin, I'm dario, I live in Argentina and I'm 48 years old, I bought a bass 1 month ago, I've never played an instrument, I started watching videos on YouTube and I found your video, I liked the simplicity that you play, I started I copied you and in 20 minutes I was playing a part of the song, I did not realize until many days after you had more than 1200 songs, I am learning with you, I play the easy songs following your videos, I would love it if we were close to go to learn with you, but we have to be far away, look for your name on the internet, and I could see that you are a successful person in your life. that showed me that your videos are disinterested and of heart, thank you very much for what you do. I only have one request to make. I want to play the Sting Shape of my Heart song. but it's an old video on your channel and there's no tablature. Could you give it to me or upload it to the video? .
