Double Bass Contemporary Bass Makers list

Dunno where they make them. They are a UK registered company.

Raises the issue that there are quite a few Chinese shops & makers too, whatever the distinction is. And no, I do not know those Martin. Well, I know of Song, and recently learned of something called Jinqu, I believe.

Yes, even the 1950 Student model isn't bad for what it is - a friend of mine has one which I've played a few times. They're one of the more dependable options among affordably priced Chinese basses.
I just thought they should perhaps go under China in the Wiki since they have a known workshop there.

I played Andrews bass a couple of days ago after hearing it played in the Bill Holman big band. It's a really nice sounding and easy, loose playing bass. Bravo!

Hi there, can I introduce myself. Will Adam Mackay, bass luthier from Scotland.
