Conundrum. . .

So I'm thinking about selling my Warwick 5 string NT Thumb and getting a Stingray. I need the money and I'm just not sure the wick is right for me. I've had it for a few years now and absolutely love the guitar but I just think I'm ready for something new. I got offered a good deal at GC that'll give me the Stingray I want and put a few hundred in my pocket. Should I go for it??

both are good basses.
warwicks have always been too pricey for me (even though i do like them), so i never dove too deep in them.
i feel in love with the MM rays.
good bass at a good price.

idk, if you feel like you would regret it too much, dont do it.
its harder to go back than it is to stay put.

So, GC offered you several hundred $$ less than you could get by selling it - and you think it may be a good deal?

Wow, I just have never thought to give away money to a company - charities, all the time. But GC is NOT a charity.

Just my VERY opinionated $0.02.

They are both great basses but I personally prefered the sounds of my Warwick thumb basses (fretted 4 and fretless 5) to my old stingray- but I don't own any of those anymore. However, the freakin NECK DIVE on the warwick thumb basses drove me crazy and irritated my shoulder.

I would advise that you sell your Warwick on your own and get a lot more money from it than you would for a trade in. But, if saving hundreds of dollars is not that important to you and you want instant gratification, then just trade it in.
