That is the pick of the litter. But the whole tuning issue due to neck tension... oy!

Sorry for the delay; I finally got around to measuring the neck of my Dean. It looks like it measures:

Nut: 2 1/8"
12th Fret: 2 1/2"
24th Fret: 2 5/8"

That may not be 100% accurate, but it's close.

Waterstone TP 32" scale 12 string bass:

Nut: 1.75"
12th fret: 2.5"
21st fret: 2.75"
