I can't say I've ever tried to learn it, but I'd like to give a nod to the bass intro on Jeff Beck's "Head For Backstage Pass".

Oh yeah! That one's good. "Come Dancing" from the same album is also a cool slap riff.

There's also The Red Hot Chili Peppers vesion of "Higher Ground". That's got a cool slap part.

How about Uzeb's "Wake Up Call". That's like a little bass slap solo that's fun to play.

I'm also a fan of the way Bill Evans arranged You and the Night and the Music.

Classical thump is pretty cool but then again that is just completely a bass song.


Other than that, bombtrack-RATM, seven nation army and revolution-judas priest (im not actually sure if thats a bass intro, but ive seen guitar pro tabs with it labled as bass).
