Cool pedals that are too big....

I know I can't be the only one looking to down size the carry board. There are some pedals that I might really like but rule them out simply because of their size or weight.
Source Audio is making some really nifty stuff but it's just too big and the Fender Sublime pedal sounds great but it's gosh darn huge and heavy. There are others but those are my regrets....

EHX Holier Grail. I cracked it open and the actual board only takes up 1/2 the enclosure. The other 1/2 is just wasted space

IMO, no such thing as a pedal that is too big if it gets the sound you want-the main part of my board is made up of 2 eventide pedals and 3 SA pro pedals. Bigger footprint than my cab.

No such thing as too big for me to use if it's awesome enough. But there are definitely pedals that I wish were smaller. Starting with the Flanger Hoax.

Mooger Fooger anything. All the Moog stuff is killer. It's like old EHX in that it has a very distinct sound that isnt subtle, and there is always a little distortion.
But DANG those are the biggest pedals!

size doesn't bother me to much.. its annoying positioning of input/output jacks and power supply that gets to me.. ive been seeing some ridiculously SMALL pedals lately aswell.. one that comes to mind is one that brian cook is using atm.. i think its a phaser? definitely need some velcro on that sh*t.

i hear ya. i still get enjoyment out of mine tho... and regretted selling the one i had before it. soo maybe keeps for now.

the octave up/down can just double as a massive octave pedal?? haha.

I have to agree!

I use 5 Moogerfoogers, 2 EP-2's and an MP-201 all from Moog on my live board and thats basically a Diago Tourmans worth of real estate. They are amazing and nothing works like them (for me at least) - but my god they are huge!

I used to feel that way but have gotten tired of hauling a surfboard to gigs, but trying to squeeze what I want on an F16 is pretty silly.

I hear that, one of the reasons i chose the F16 is because it's the same size as my small gig amp. Multi effects are cool in my book.

+1000. Holy crap, this pedal needs to be smaller because it is really awesome but also about the size of Rhode Island (rough estimate).

no pedal is too huge, but, every pedal has to justify it's pedalboard real estate by how much it will be used.

Maxon PH350 phaser. Love it, but phasers get very little use so it's hard to justify putting it onto my small overcrowded board. If only I could get that quality sound in a tiny phase 90 enclosure.
