One of my favorite live albums. I bought the triple LP when it was released, and wore out the grooves. When it came time to replace it, I had real trouble finding the double CD. I finally found it in a music store in Singapore. When I got back to Chicago and unwrapped it, I found out that it contained two copies of Disk #1 and no Disk #2. Totally bummed. Several years later, I found the double CD again in the import section at Border's on Michigan Ave. I bought it, then went back the next day and returned it, complaining that it had two Disk #1's. I asked them to find me a replacement, which I suspected they would never be able to do. And they never did.

Years after that, the two CD set was remastered and shipped with a third bonus disk. Bought it.

Who could have guessed, when she first appeared on the music scene as a young songbird singing simple folk songs, that she would develop and progress and continue to evolve into the musical powerhouse that recorded with Jaco, Tom Scott, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Pat Metheny, Charles Mingus.
