I saw him when he was touring with the Oblivion Express in '74. If you haven't heard Live Oblivion Vol. 1 and Live Oblivion Vol. 2 from that tour, do yourself a favor and find them on your streaming platform. Amazon Music does NOT have the two live albums available. That sucks. I'm still looking. Whew. I only brought about 25% of my CDs with me when I moved to France. I just checked, and I brought ALL of my Brian Auger CDs! Time to go back to physical media.Brian Auger
The Beatles in Hamburg at the Bed of Roses 1962 - but according to Wikipedia it could be The Star Club; “In 1961, Roy Young began working at the Top Ten Club in Hamburg where he played with Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers, who briefly included Ringo Starr, and recorded with Sheridan. He then won a contract to play at the rival Star-Club, where he met the Beatles, and began performing with them in spring 1962.”
