I was at work and started to get multiple calls from friends informing me of the sad news. Left work, went home, closed the curtains, and watch Live at The El Mocambo. Ironically that was the same day I became a Kentucky Colonel.

That was a sad day. I could hardly believe my ears when I heard the news. One of the true greats lost too soon.
