I just did a 3 day run watching the Hold Steady here in Seattle. Buzzing from the shows and even more obsessed than ever! Ironically enough, that top picture is watermarked with Stereo Embers, which is also the name of my band! (We share a name with a indie music magazine).

Awesome! The current incarnation of the band is killer, I'm so glad Franz is back. I saw them in 2017 at a small club here in Chicago (Empty Bottle) and last year at a festival with the Drive By Truckers. They're in town again this weekend but I'm going to have to miss them.

I remember Galen playing that beat up P years ago, I'm glad to see it back.

Her first album is one of the best I've ever heard. It still feels alive and different when you listen to it in 2019. It has some incredible songwriting and fantastic basslines. And she wrote most of the songs before she was 18....
