How is it that there’s a pic of them in front of a 48 star flag? I don’t remember them touring the US before 1960.

She's not just an institution, but a bona fide national treasure in the UK.
Considering how influential she's been, and how frequently she's credited as a major influence / inspiration by so many female artists, I've always had the impression (perhaps mistakenly) that she's equally regarded as an international treasure.
Oh, I thought you were saying Google wasn't showing who she was. Nah, I definitely believe she's always been bigger in the UK and Europe than the US. She appeared on SNL once in the late '70s and I had absolutely no idea who she was at the time.

but the important thing is you now know who she is 
Up until 2014 Kate hadn't toured in over 35 years and that wasn't in the states, so in some ways it's not surprising she is not better known in the US. You know how people are, out of sight, out of mind.

I’m a Big “early Genesis” fan. So I naturally followed Peter Gabriel until I became bored. I thought she was beautiful cool and different. I know Peter was definitely interested in Bush for awhile!thats ok its a long way from the uk to the us things get lost along the way
