I also love the work she and her husband Chris Frantz (drummer) did with the Tom Tom Club in addition to Talking Heads. Really happy they survived getting hit head-on by a drunk driver on the wrong side of the road last March. She got banged up pretty good (3 broken ribs and a broken sternum). Does anyone know if she's recovered enough to be performing again?
I wouldn't worry about this being posted for the second time. The Winter/Hendrix pic has been posted about 100 times.
And somehow they're still sounding great. I guess Dave Greenslade retired. Malcolm Mortimore (original Gentle Giant drummer) is in the drum chair plus 2 new younger guys on sax and organ.

Not sure what you mean by "he refused to Rock". If you mean he refused to play the same guitar solo that was on the record every night, then...I don't blame him!
Great artists are under no obligation to be what we want them to be. I'd even go as far to say that, if they did cater to their audience at the expense of their personal vision, they wouldn't be great artists. (see Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Beethoven, Stravinsky, et al.)
