My band is going to add this song to our set list, but to fit our female lead singer we're going to take Tiffany's version "When I saw him standing there".A few years ago I was in a Classic Rock covers band and we were thinking about adding this song to our setlist. Then it occurred to us that a bunch of guys in their 50's and 60's singing "She was just 17, if you know what I mean" might carry unintended implications.

Ha ha! Yeah, we thought about doing the Stray Cats "Sexy and 17", but didn't for the same reason. And changing it to "Sexy and Seven-ty" was just going TOO far!!A few years ago I was in a Classic Rock covers band and we were thinking about adding this song to our setlist.
