didn't Watkins make one similar? What the hell is that amp?
more cheesy organ! thx for that. pre '67 '60s typically gets usurped by The Summer Of Love era, but just like Jimi felt 1966 was his year it was my year too being 11 with the power of a transistor pocket radio listening to surf, girl groups, The Beatles, The Animals, the Yardbirds and Kinks was opening my ears and mind. then of course came The Doors, the Airplane, and Hendrix which made everybody forget about everything prior. the difference between the two times is stark, no comparison, yet it was just as good for me having come off of Elvis and Dick Dale where that whole kickass spirit permeated the next generation when LSD was legal but bands were still dressing sharp. I grew up around Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth and remember him hating the surf music and Beatles cos he felt it took kids away from his epic gig, not even allowing any to be played at the shop lol goes to show how popular the guitar and bands were, how fast it grew, taking over everything. our parents said it was just a fad lolGood song!
