I dig this! A LOT! how would I go about getting one like this?
Italia is a good valueAll I want is simple , no stamping, no concho, no colors, just a 3to4 inch wide strap, natural leather, no suede, long with some adjustableness, suggestions?
I made one, a copy of my four inch "Italia" strap. Cut it out with a razor blade. About twenty-five minutes from the initial tracing to the finished product. All I want is simple , no stamping, no concho, no colors, just a 3to4 inch wide strap, natural leather, no suede, long with some adjustableness, suggestions?

I volunteer at The Veterans Art Center here in Junction. The leather is donated for classes. After repeated requests for some one to answer the call I finally did it myself. I'll try and get a picture. (edited: Saturday)where did you get the leather?
The idea is to take the strap from riding up the neck and keep it on the shoulder.Interesting, what's the advantage of the slight angle?
I have 4" Italias, very nice, but they put pressure my ACJ (the bump on top of your shoulder), which then gets sore. Plus, they chafe the side of my neck, they do help with neck heavy basses. I assume they will break in over time.
I have better luck with 3" wide necks in both regards.
