Yeah, those vids are G.A.S.-inducing, eh? I've watched most of them. Warwick makes a lot of cool basses, but IMO the Dolphin is the king.
I've been loving my recently-acquired '99 Thumb NT 5-string. Wish it balanced better, but the tone makes it almost worth crippling myself! I'm especially blown away by the B string. I'm using a taper-wound .125 tuned down a half-step, and the punch, definition and clarity are remarkable.
You have Warwick money, Doc.. you just have to locate it! I sold two 5-strings and liberated some of my bonus from work to get the Thumb. Total impulse buy on a Saturday morning, but it all fell into place like it was meant to happen.

lol !!! I find it funny in fact and I enjoy watching these clips too... These clips give me gas too... like getting a thomb or an other SSII... lol

If you go to the web site, there are some other video's 30th aniversary streamer and the TM Stevens sounds SO great... (I don't dig the painted body on the steven...) but the price... ouch... more than a Wal !!! lol

Dammit!! I've ALWAYS liked the Dolphin the most. I love the Streamer's body shape,too. But down in my heart I know that shape came from S.Spector (sorry guys). The Dolphin's body style ain't traditional,yet it's not TOO out there (to me ,at least). Geez,that tone comin' from just the bridge pup? Pure sonic bliss. I love that punchy,midrange-dominant tone.
I also love a bass that really shows a player's shortcomings when it comes to technique. And,the Dolphin does that in spades. Nice.

Hey don't sweat that the Streamer is a Spector copy because Spector himself got it from Ned Steinberger (NS.)

That Dolphin is awesome though. I love that growl!:bassist:

Andy is a personal friend of mine....GREAT bass player and clinician, super cool guy. He posts a bunch of reviews, and free lessons, too. He's currently on tour with his "warwick: the sound of bass" clinic tour. He's got a ton of real world experience, and loves to share. He's both a Warwick Endorsed Artist, but also a trained Product Specialist. He love to teach, and has a good way of getting his ideas across. I highly recommend his clinic tour...its free and they give away a Warwick Bass and Amp at each event. He's also a teacher at Bootsty Collins Funk University!

That Warwick Stage II rings like a bell! The sustain on the fretless Stage I is awesome. I have been a Streamer fan for years, but this reaffirms why I love them so much. As Streamer Stage I Broadneck or maybe a SC Thumb Broadneck five will have to be my gift to myself when I do twenty years at my current job.:):bassist::smug:
