That Vampyre is no joke!
I have midrange on the brain after all of these Warwick clips. It was cool to hear one guy play all of these basses using similar licks. It really showed how many Warwicks have a similar tone that mirange heavy and full of growl. Streamers definitely come closer to the Jazz bass sort of scooped tone, but the Stage One still have a fair amount of the Warwick midrange.I've been a Warwick fan for a while, but this had made me an even stronger Warwick fan. I will have to keep my eyes open for a good deal on a used Thumb or Streamer.
