Correct me if I am wrong...

(brief history, probably not necessary)

Recently I have kind of done an overhaul on my gear I was playing a Yorkville xs400 watt head and through its brother 4x10 cab now I am playing through an SVT 4 Pro and a 6x10 cab then shortly after that I acquired a cheap LTD 6 string bass for $400 so I sold my Ibanez ergodyne to make up for the cost of that.

Now that I am more accustomed to the 6 string I am leaning towards an MTD Kingston 6 with a maple neck. I want something that will be full but can have enough balls when I want to slap but also come through clear when playing chords and not be muddy when trying to groove or play a line (am I asking to much?) I figured it would probably be my best choice mahogany body's are darker and a maple neck is a little crisper?

I have no way of getting my hands on one where I live so could anyone out there tell me if I am looking in the right direction (I would change the pre amp and pickups) also is there anything that it may be comparable to that I might be able to find.

Thanks ahead of time;
best regards,

Ian.
