Thought you guys might like to check out my wah. I built it a couple of years ago but never really used it much, it was kind of uncontrollable. I pulled it back out a few weeks ago and started looking it over, turns out I had wired the volume pot wrong! It works awesome now. It's a Craig Anderton super tone control mounted in a crybaby shell with all of the controls mounted externally (with an added master volume). It's true bypass and "instant on" when you step on it just like the white bass crybaby. There are two DPDT miniswitches at the heel that are connected together and switch the instant the heel moves off the body even a tiny bit.
The controls are (from heel to toe on the right side) low pass - bandpass - high pass - resonance (or "Q") - high/low. The master volume is on the left.
As for the sound, I would describe it as "liquid-y". If you crank the Q and lower the volume (so you don't blow your ears out - this thing can get LOUD) it will produce some distortion which can really add to the tone. I don't have any clips but there are some (not a wah though) on YT. I call it the Cosmo-Wah and I used a similar font as the Chicago Iron Parachute - which is a copy of the Tychobrahe Parapedal - which is actually very similar to this Anderton circuit (without the adjustability of course).
