I dont know how to explain a few guys standing around after a conversation has ended.

Perhaps they were standing there passing gas (hence the smiles) and waiting for the wafting aroma to hit the OP and send her flying from the room at warp speed.

I'm no expert but i'd say its because you wished them a good weekend and they were expecting you to then just walk away. Like someone who said goodbye might. But then..you didn't.

Here's something that makes sense.

If folks spent a couple seconds looking at things like this from the other side I can't help but think the world might be a better place.
