I think there's definitely a mindset that's required for tiny living to work, and in my opinion you have to have a sound reason for doing so. If the motivation is to save money, then it's likely going to be difficult to get into a tiny home and even more difficult to maintain the lifestyle. Because then it just becomes a comparison of cost savings to having less, and for many of us it is quite easy to justify having more and spending more to get it.
It's great that many of you realize this is not something you can do and you know why. I definitely don't recommend trying it out to see if you like it.
When the correct motivation/reason is there, then it isn't all the difficult to simplify and live in a tiny space.
