COuld you please help me indentify my '78 Ibanez?

Dear all,

I was able to buy my teacher's Ibanez bass, needless to say I'm happy as Larry.

From the serial number I know it was manufactured in January 1978. I went to various online vintage brochures but I couldn't find a similar model at all. I was wondering if you could help me indentify by the attached pictures (sorry for the quality, dark early now in this part of the woods).

I used to own a lawsuit Ibanez guitar from the 70's.Maybe the bass is also one.The headstock looks awful fenderish to me.Try googling Ibanez lawsuit guitars and see if it pops up there then out of curiosity let me know how it worked for you.signed Owner of 77 Lawsuit strat
