I am ordering a bass guitar from a custom shop. I really like basses that I play right now, which are Yamaha RBX 760AII and RBX774. I don't think I can find the same pickups and electronics. Can anyone suggest the closes pickups and preamp? I really like the shape of Yamaha's pickups and learned to position my thumb on it accordingly. Similar shaped EMG pickup has ear for the screw where I would put my thumb. So can anyone suggest anything in my case?
