I dunno. I hate to disagree with you knowledgeable types but I think the bolt looks kinda cool.... kinda Steampunk, if you're into that kind of thing.

What’s not to like!
A new neck, reshaping the top and probably resetting the bass bar could get it back in shape to play. It doesn't look like it's worth the trouble, however, with the veneer losses and likely other effects of torture and neglect, other than as a cadaver for practice.
