Crackling

I noticed some crackling coming from my speakers this weekend while tuned in and home tweaking amp settings etc.

This is an SVT-6PRO and B410NEO cab. At first I scratched it off as the horn maybe going bad, so I was planning on calling Avatar today to inquire.

As usual, I did a little googling on crackling before grabbing the phone, and discovered that possibly the pre-amp tubes are the culprits.

I'm not home right now, but I'm pretty sure I narrowed it down to cab when I pushed the MUTE button on the amp and it was still doing it, however, I've always noticed a "tad" of sound still coming through the cab even on MUTE (always wondered if that was normal...)

Are my tubes going bad? Perhaps I need to clean the tube sockets, or could it be the cab after all?

If a tube issue, would it still come through on MUTE?

I may have to try my 3PRO head on the cab to further isolate, but I have those in two different locations right now.
