Wanted 50+ year old bass player/multi-instrumentalist (Your area)

Looking to duplicate myself for success.
This is all original music. So you can play venues without ASCAP/BMI licensing !

If have gear, want to play, but don't want to deal with bandmates, this might work for you.
You must be in shape to stand or sit for a two hour showcase show.

Please have an open mind
You need decent chops in varied styles to make this really fun.
However a guy who can play Tom Petty or the Eagles would be just fine.
This is built for a bass player. If you want to play other instruments on a few songs it is cool.
You will need a small PA system , and few cheap lights.
The willingness to work with a great female singer song writer, without the drama because she plays virtually on a screen while you play live.

You can write your own parts. Just do you.
No need to pay her until you get things established. However if you make a few bucks, be a decent guy.
Please be lesbian and 2A friendly as that will be a part of the crowd.
The songs are really good.

Curious, though.

Singer who performs virtually made me think of Hatsune Miku and other synthesized voices, but that's more of a 20s-30s age group, not 50+, and also synth voices aren't going to be songwriters. Hauling a PA and playing along with a singer-songwriter's performance could be marketable if the singer was dead, but paying her implies he's still alive. So someone retired who still wants performances of the music out there to make a bit of money? That's my best guess, which would be clever from the singer's point of view.

There's also the implication that a bassist might be making a bit of money doing this, and this ad is looking to clone the project.
