Crazy combo amp

it does exist...the Genz Benz Shuttle6.0/210 combo. The head is 600 watts to 4 ohms with a tube preamp. The 6.0 slides out of the combe to be placed on top of any 810 box and if it is a 4 ohm cabinet it will push 600 watts...375 watts to an 8ohm load...75 more than an SVT

It is the combo to the right of Jeff Genzler...lol with his water bottle on it

Also, the Mesa M6 Carbine (or Venture MPulse 600) can be had as a 2x12 combo, and the head pops out. The Walkabout is a 300 watt, 1x12 version, but even that will power up a 610 with ease. I think Mesa and Genz Benz are the only good options.

Why does the head have to be removable? You could also buy a standard high-end 2 x 10 combo, like an Eden Metro or SWR Redhead and then put the whole bloody thing on a 4 X 10 should you need that much oomph.

Folks have been doing this for years. It is generally not a lightweight solution but it works like a charm.
