I'd love to have one just like it, except with an additional 1-string neck!
I love that bass too! I'd prefer it with a four string neck though as it shows in the sci-fi scene. Absolutely wonderful. I also really liked the one the other creature was playing. Walfy

Okay, these are guitars and not even mine but they are pretty unusual. The first is a Kawai Moon guitar and was on GBase. com for a very long time. I think they wanted $2000 for it. The second is a Hondo UFO and was in GBase's private party classified ads section. And, since they no longer have that section, that shows how long ago I snagged this one!:) As I recall they were asking $300. Walfy

Here is a copy of a flyer that came with the Westone catalog (mailed April 2, 1985 :smug: ). The bass on the left is called The Rail. I used to know a fellow who had one and he said it worked quite well and the moveable pickup was practical. Walfy

Another guitar but this one is mine. No, it doesn't have a red glow.:) It would really be neat if it did :D but it is what dealer did with the photo. Walfy

Wish I still had a pic of my old skateboard bass. we used a Schmittstix "yardstick" deck and the bigg old indies with some giant orange sofites. It had to be somewhat skateable as well as playable. We had to do some metal work forteh bass neck to attach and stay in tune. I think Mike Hill (of Jaks, Coffee and Donuts etc) has it. It was a fender P neck BTW.

ps.Isnt the Jack Daniels Bass Played by Michael Anthony of Van Halen? Sure he is teh least flashy member of the band. but somebody has to hold it steady for the other 2 guys./ I saw em in 87 in Alabama or Florida. I am not sure to this day. I was pretty messed up that spring break.
