Ok thought I would lay a little problem I have on you I have a bass that has a tone monster pre in it and when I use it with my nady 332 wireless,my wireless go,s crazy switching back and forth between a/b channels? When I use the pickup blend knob,my other basses with preamps in them work fine with the 332.so any ideas why this is happening? It's kind of a drag because this bass sounds badass, what could this issue be???

Come on you guys, you mean to tell me have finally stumped the bass expert's of T.B? I know some one has something to say,am I the only person ever to come across this issue?????

Like I said when I use my bass with the sbk 3a tone monster preamp with my nady 332 silver series wireless system,t the 332 goes crazy switching back and forth from channel a to b when I use the pickup blend knob on the bass, the bass works fine with a cord.and my other basses with preamps work fine with the wireless system I don't know how to describe it any other way

Does it stop when you get the blend in the position you want it?

It sounds like the movement of the blend pot is producing some kind of output signal that is being interpreted as signal loss/distortion by the wireless unit. It thinks it's losing the signal so it switches to the other channel. Depending on how sensitive the unit it, is could be inaudible to you and still be causing an issue.

Try turning the volume down to zero and then panning to see if it still behaves that way. Not an ideal solution, but it will isolate the problem.

Ok I tried what you suggested and when the blend is in the center position the 332 freaks out when it's bridge or neck it's fine? How strange is that! It must be creating a single of some kind in the center position, wow how strange is that?

Is the pre in a shielded cavity? The impedance change of the blend must be reacting with the preamp circuit but I don't know how it would interfere with the wireless. The tone monster pre's just use a passive blend so it shouldn't be able to directly effect the wireless very strange indeed. Does it do it with your other active basses or if you are playing?
