One more vote for Fishbone. A MASSIVE INFLUENCE for some of the most mainstream rock/punk/HC/ska/metal acts of the last 3 decades. So unfairly unrecognized.
two fingers... how right you are! Every time I listen to them I shake my head at how tight a unit they were. The bass player (no idea what his name is) was fundamentally strong and had great creativity. Audley Freed was an incredible guitar player also. I guess I kinda like that they were a cult favorite. The majority of there “fans” were most likely musicians.Cry Of Love - great straight forward rock band. No overdubs on their first album. They just stood in a circle at Muscle Shoals and did the thing.
