Yeah, low end is not really a huge concideration for me.
As I mainly play a tenor bass tuned bass (G#1 standard tuning to be exact), and that it is the main instrument in the solo project of mine I use this in, that is the main melodic and driving instument, with, beside drums, and occationally vocals, a few other instruments more so accompaning it or being pure extra flavor.
If I need more bass, as in low end, in the mix I will typically use something like an organ for that, or eventual overdub my tenor bass with a take where the 1 octave down effect is enganed on my Boss XS-1 Poly Shifter pedal (which normally will have the 1 octave up engaged, to give an effect somewhat similar to that of an 8 string, octave course, bass).

This is by the way my basic "clean" tone, which as you can hear isn't actually very clean.
