Crowd favorite/ most requested JAZZ tunes?

Needing some DANCING songs, plus some Latin rhythms/ Spanish lyrics.

Does anyone play 'Hot Hot Hot (Ole Ole)' anymore?? ( Arrows/ Buster Poindexter)


It stretches the latin jazz-pop definition, but it grooves like nobody's business, people know it, you can't help but dance.

I play "Hot Hot Hot" and some similar songs with my latin band. "Sopa de Caracol" and "Pata Pata" could work, too. Stevie Wonders "Outro Lugar" and "Master Blaster" are crowd favourites, too.

Oye Como Va. It may be a bit cheesy, but back in the day my Salsa band would close out with it, never disappointed the crowd.
A more recent band got some good responses for Mambo Italiano

You know, back in the '60s when I started gigging we played most of these songs, but even then it was appreciated most by "old folks" or at least older, like my parents who were born in 1931. Today, now that I am one of the "old folks" of these times (I'm 67) it concerns me that this kind of music will fade away. How many 20-something-year-olds today would even recognize these titles? No doubt some do, but not the majority. Kinda like we kids in the'60s didn't play much from the 1920s and before, although some of us did. I'm glad some of us are still around these days, but eventually...
