CTS extended shaft

Working on a build I found the pots I was using were too short. The body has a control cavity in the rear. I've drilled the holes and even routed a bit from the back. The shaft comes through but I can't thread the nut to secure the pot. I think the CTS extended split shaft is the solution.

Now to the question - what kind of knob goes on there? a regular chrome PBass type knob?

You can put any knob on you want, can't you?

Yep. With split-shaft pots and a set-screw knob, you just align the knob so the set screw goes into the notch between halves of the split shaft.

I have heard of brass insert things being used to make split-shafts solid too.

Cool, I'll order them up today. I just didn't want to use push on knobs...
