CTS pot marking question

So I received an order from Amplified Parts and one of the pots has me scratching my head. Its a CTS 250k solid-shaft audio-taper that does not follow the same format of stamping as other CTS pots that I have: How To Decode CTS Pot Numbers - Red Star Guitars

So my question is "what am I looking at in this picture"?

Weird. I see it but I also copy/pasted the image. Hopefully this shows up.

I emailed Amplified Parts and they assured me its a CTS pot, but I just don't see it. When a company has a clear marking system and your item does not match it, I can't help but wonder. I'm sure it is CTS, but how many "is this pre-CBS Fender real" posts are there that ask the exact same question. Worst case scenario is that I'm out $4.50.

That's just a different model number, a 450S instead of the 450G at the site you linked. It's a real CTS pot, just from a different series, so the markings don't mean the same thing. They're essentially interchangable and are just marketed/sold differently (from CTS to resellers).

It looks like the first broken image is trying to reference an attachment in your yahoo email? Maybe that's why you see it and we don't.
