CTS pots ...please help

I'm getting my new CTS pots in a few days and I have what may seem like a dumb question. :o

Are the outside lugs marked as to which one is - or +?
I notice on my stock pots, there's a "mark" on the ground lug.
I don't want to put these in bass-ackwards.

Thanks.

Ive never noticed any markings on any pots ive used.

Actually, the "mark" is on the top/shaft side of the casing of my existing pots.

I think I understand the taper for lo to hi volume, whereas the wiper moves from lug 2 to lug 3.

Is the correct orientation of the pot supposed to be with the lugs toward the bottom of the bass? Meaning, the left lug is always the ground lug?

Take notes and maybe even a picture before you start taking your old pots out. Wire your new pots just like the old ones and you will be OK. They’re just pots.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.
After looking at this: Invalid Link Removed

I got a bit confused because my stock pots are wired with the ground on the opposite side. So, I take it, it doesn't matter then?
Just wire the new ones exactly like my existing pots?
