Cubase help please ( tracking and cleaning ect.)

I recently started using this software tracking bass, I am total newbie..
I`m tracking a tricky tune doing patches and drop-ins taking the song as ideas come into my head..everything sounds fine when exporting the files as in the 1st picture..
As soon as I start cleaning the tracks ( cutting and trimming for demo ideas) I get a little click / pop between the tracks / patches of bass I recorded.. as well as when merging( dragging the the parts into one lane for cleaning and resizing the tracks dragging the corners on bottom sides )
I also tried using in one lane tracking bass on top of each other and dragging to size to fit..on the other picture I started cleaning and combing tracks resulting in little click noises..
Any advice and help will be great, I really don`t know how to explain it any better..

just apply the fade in/out at the places pop is occurring.

consult the docs for relevant cubase version and edition on how to do it in cubase.

Select 2 parts/tracks and press X on your keyboard. This shortcut should create a crossfade. If the shortcut doesn't create a crossfade for you then you will have to find it ihe menus.

It did the job!! No more clicks..smooth transition Thanks a lot!!

Another thing you can do is zoom in and move the transition point around until the waveforms follow a natural transition. Clicks and pops are caused because the waveforms don't match at the transition.
