I few weeks ago I picked up a Yamaha i88x interface. I've had Cubase SX 3 installed for quite some time on my comp.
Sessions I had prior to the i88x now playback with a very weird, very digital sounding distortion when run through my i88x, but not my soundcard. Sessions since my i88x sound fine. All sessions are 44.1k/24 bit. Same output settings. Happens no matter what tracks are muted.
Any ideas?
