Custom Bass: DIY or Best Company

Hello fellow master bassers,

I've been wanting to create a particular bass for a long time but wanted to see if anyone can suggest a good company that does it or where to get parts to do it myself.

Thanks for any input on this!

As stated; if P or J Bass = WARMOTH

There is no better than Warmoth Guitar Products. There are other companies, but the process at Warmoth is dialed in!

Now, this is the tricky part...

You MUST work with someone who KNOWS what they are doing. Can they install a set of tuners in square? Can they drill holes correctly and not mess something up? Are they actually QUALIFIED to do the job and have all the tools to do the job that needs to be done?

ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

Also, do you (or the builder) suffer from "limited artistic vision?" This means that you are the only one who thinks the Bass is cool...! (i.e. weird wood combinations, wacky control/electronic layouts and bizzar hardware color/type selection or mix.)

You can drop a pile of coin on Good, Bad and Ugly...

;)

That's what I'm afraid of. Just spend several hours on Warmoth's website and watched the price keep going up. Thanks for the help! My wallet, does NOT thank you.
